Los 33, an old school local band called me to do pictures for their stateside demo and maybe a poster. The call came out of the blue while Ana and I were in the supermarket. I've been shooting gigs for some years, but this was the first time I got paid. So now can really say I shot bands professionally.
This is my other Helmet a Giro Semi MX. I went dirt jumping this morning for the second time in years. I used my polka-dot helmet last time but I figured I could use more coverage so I got this one. Today on my first time around the track I crashed while landing the first tabletop jump. After hitting the dirt I slid on my right side (knee, elbow, and shoulder) finally coming to a stop when my head hit the second ramp of the track. I was glad to have this helmet on, it has a LOT more padding than the Atmos, and while dirt is softer than concrete, I'm sure it made a difference.
